Delete Account

Last updated: 17 August 2026

You may request deletion of your NordBalticum account and associated personal data at any time, subject to the limited retention requirements described below and in our Privacy Policy.

The easiest way to submit a request is directly through NordBalticum while you still have access to your account. The same deletion request applies to your NordBalticum account whether you use the web wallet or the native mobile wallet.

1. Request deletion from NordBalticum

Native wallet. If you are signed in to the NordBalticum mobile application, open the in-app Support or account support area and submit an account-deletion request. This is the preferred method because it helps us identify the relevant account and handle your request securely.

Web wallet. If you use the NordBalticum web wallet, open Support while signed in and submit an account-deletion request from your account. You may use this web page as the external account-deletion resource even if you no longer have the native application installed.

You do not need to reinstall the native application in order to request deletion. If you cannot access NordBalticum Support through the app or web wallet, use the email method below.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot submit the request while signed in, email:

support@nordbalticum.com

Where possible, send the request from the email address associated with your NordBalticum account and state that you want your NordBalticum account deleted. Do not include your wallet PIN, private key or any other wallet secret. NordBalticum will never ask you to disclose those credentials to process an account-deletion request.

3. Verification and processing

We may take proportionate steps to verify that a deletion request relates to you before acting on it. Verification is used to protect accounts and personal data from unauthorized or fraudulent deletion requests. We will not require wallet secrets as proof of identity.

Valid requests are handled without undue delay and within the time limits required by applicable data-protection law. We may contact you if information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant account or verify the request is missing.

4. What account deletion means

Once a valid deletion request is completed, NordBalticum will delete or de-identify personal data associated with the account from systems under our control where deletion is required by applicable law. This may include account and profile information, authentication records that are no longer required, wallet-related database records, user settings, support account references, rewards or referral account associations, and other personal data linked to the deleted account.

Account deletion is permanent for the NordBalticum account being deleted. Temporary suspension, disabling or freezing of an account is not treated as completed account deletion.

5. Data we may need to retain

Deletion rights are subject to applicable legal exceptions. We may retain limited records where and for as long as retention is required or permitted for legal obligations, accounting or tax requirements, fraud and abuse prevention, security, dispute resolution, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Any retained information remains subject to applicable data-protection requirements and will not be retained merely to keep a deleted account active. More information about retention is available in our Privacy Policy.

6. Self-custody wallet and blockchain data

NordBalticum is self-custody wallet software. Deleting your NordBalticum account is an account and personal-data action; it is not a blockchain transaction and does not transfer, recover, reverse or dispose of crypto-assets for you.

Public wallet addresses, transaction hashes, balances, token approvals, smart-contract interactions and other information already recorded on public blockchain networks may remain publicly available. Public blockchain records are maintained independently of NordBalticum and generally cannot be deleted, modified or reversed by us.

Before requesting deletion, make sure you understand your own self-custody wallet-access arrangements. NordBalticum cannot recreate a forgotten PIN, generate a recovery phrase that does not exist, or independently reconstruct a private key after supported access to the wallet is lost.

7. Third-party services

Deleting a NordBalticum account does not automatically delete an account or personal data held independently by a third-party service that you chose to use, such as an independent payment provider or dApp. Those providers process their own data under their own terms, privacy notices and legal obligations.

Where a service provider processes personal data on NordBalticum's behalf, we will address deletion of that data as required by applicable data-protection law and our arrangements with that provider.

8. Privacy rights and questions

Account deletion is separate from any other data-protection rights you may have, including rights of access, rectification, restriction, portability or objection where applicable. Details are available in our Privacy Policy.

For account deletion, privacy questions or help with a deletion request, use NordBalticum Support in the native app or web wallet whenever available, or email:
